Situated under fairy lit olive trees by the pool, offering the expansive sea views, this restaurant has always been a top favourite with us for al fresco Summer dining, and apart from excellent cuisine freshly cooked to one’s liking, the ambience and atmosphere of the place is fantastic and can be enjoyed by groups, families, and couples for special occasions, casual summer dining, as well as it is impeccable for the quintessence of a romantic summer’s eve in the Mediterranean, below the long summer star-filled night sky and balmy summer evenings.

The Gazebo Restaurant at the Hilton Malta, specializes in BBQ favourites with a difference featuring live-cooking stations, with a different dining theme every day, and this year the theme buffet nights being offered are:

• Monday – BBQ €33.00
• Tuesday – Maltese €35.00
• Wednesday – French €35.00
• Thursday – Italian €35.00
• Friday – BBQ €33.00
• Sunday – Carvery €35.00

Merkanti Bistro

If one wants to enjoy the cool sea breeze, and to soak up the sun on the terrace over a light lunch or dinner then there is none better or more suitable than the Merkanti Beach club & Bistro at the Hilton Malta.

Accessible through the Portomaso Yacht Marina, the Beach club offers a full lunch and dinner menu, including a selection of salads, burgers and sandwiches right at the water’s edge.

Open-air barbecues and private functions may also be organised at the Beach club.

The Beach Club & Lunch is available for residents only, but a day pass offer is available with the following prices:

Full Day at the Merkanti Beach Club - €60 per person Children (6-12 years) €30. This includes in the price:: Full day access, sunbed, umbrella and towel. €20 entitlement for food and €20 entitlement for drinks

This special is available from MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Dinner is available to residents and non-residents on an a la carte menu.

Live music is played at the Merkanti and Gazebo in the evenings to enhance diners’ enjoyment.
