Our third , al fresco, Summer restaurant destination in this series is located in Balluta Bay, St. Julian's, Malta, and offers al fresco dining on one of the most beautiful terraces which were once part of a prestigious 19th century Villa, which was built in a period when prestige and high taste were the norm among Malta's elite, and although privately operated it is now part of one of the Island's foremost branded, five-star hotels. Wejla by Tartarun is one of the first three restaurants that have opened their doors to the general public at Smart City, Kalkara, Malta. Recently opened and launched in April of this year, Wejla run by the Schiavone family who are also the operators and owners of Tartarun Restaurant in Marsaxlokk, was designed and furbished to high quality standards from the very start, offering high standard cuisine listed in a short but very select menu. The restaurant lends itself well for business lunches, romantic dinners in a new and avant-garde setting, as well as for an up-market family lunch on Sundays.
