This Restaurant Guide, only shows those restaurants that have been directly surveyed and inspected by our professional survey teams, and which have been rated at 8.5 points or more out of 10. The list shall be updated periodically in accordance with new or follow up inspections as and when carried out. We have inspected, surveyed and reviewed over 120 restaurants during the course of 2019. The following listed restaurants have made it to the guide, many others have not succeeded to reach the qualifying 8.5 points minimum whilst others might have either closed down or changed owners, operators and concept, and or have been deleted from last years list.

The restaurants listed here-under have satisfied our exacting standards for cuisine quality and service and have been awarded the WRMC Silver Spoon Award – highest restaurant accolade in the Maltese Islands, or the WRMC Blue Riband Certificate or retention Blue Riband plaque, during the exclusive awards presentation dinner which was held at the Portomaso Suite, Hilton Malta, on the 27th of January, 2020.

Points are given for:

 Ambiance; Decor; Cuisine Quality primary requirement; Preparation and Presentation; Service; Staff and Management attitude towards clients and overall demeanour; Value for money food; Wine List and mark-up. Overall points are calculated through an overall formula to arrive at the points and their meaning as shown below.

 What do the points mean:

 10: Exceptional; 9.5: Excellent;  9+: Outstanding; 8.5 Very Good .
